Gingerbread Houses

For family night this week we did our annual Christmas tradition of gingerbread houses. I only made one real one (I guess I'm getting old and tired)--but the kids were disappointed so I got out the good old graham crackers and they each made their own mini house. They thought that was the coolest! Just goes to show you don't have to kill yourself to please the young 'uns....

Spencer's 2nd Birthday!

We celebrated Spencer's 2nd birthday at Grammy's house. Spencer loves Curious George, so we did our best to make a monkey cake. It was Dad's birthday too, so the two monkeys celebrated together!

Ben's Birthday

We celebrated Ben's 4th birthday with a dinosaur party. We went to the dinosaur park, and his dino mountain cake turned out awesome! He thought it was the coolest birthday ever.

Halloween

We had a great Halloween with Tara and her kids joining us for our annual party. It was a great night for trick-or-treating, and Aubree and Adam ended up with pillowcases full of candy! We just finished it last week!!

A beginning

In case you are wondering why we chose "Kahuna Klan" for our blog name, well, we decided to use something we all enjoy doing. Our favorite family activity is white water rafting in Jackson Hole, and the biggest rapid on the river is called "Big Kahuna." Hence, we're the Kahuna Klan. Here's two of the youngest klansters who actually haven't gone on the river yet, but they like to pretend!
